Interest and amortization
The borrowers continuously pay interest to Auxilium and repay part of the loan. Auxilium pays interest to its investors every six months and uses the repayments to originate additional home loans.
Upon the date of maturity, the entire mortgage portfolio is sold on the commercial credit market and the investors are redeemed their deposit.
